History

Since 1925, the Dutch family De Ruiter produced vegetable tanned leather satchels under the brand name: 'RUITERTASSEN'. Through time, due to quality and professional devotion, they expended with RUITERTASSEN a worldwide reputation. 

In january 2006, LSP Belgium, for many years producer of leather bags and schoolbags, added the complete production and logistics of RUITERTASSEN to his organisation and operates from his warehouse in Belgium to do the worldwide distribution.

Besides the classic RUITERTASSEN, new products are developed and are divided in several series according to their style and function. It's our intention to adapt these series periodical with new quality products who will follow the more than 75 years old RUITERTASSEN reputation of quality and originality.

Today, Ruitertassen are sold in Benelux, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Norwey, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Japan and the Unites States of America.
